Kyrie Wins Gold and Tournament MVP
LeBrons teammate Kyrie Irving was playing for Team USA contending to reach gold in the FIBA World Cup. Irving started at the point guard for all nine games for Team USA for the World Cup. Kyrie was shooting 52% from the field and 47% from behind the arc. Also, averaging 2 steals per game, and his defense intensity appeared better than the regular season according to SB Nation. I watched the highlights of the game when Team USA won gold. Kyrie had a spectacular game. He ended the game with 26 games out of 13 shots, and 6-6 from the three point line. That is 100% shooting from the three. Team USA won against Serbia 129-92. Irving shouldn't only be happy to be named MVP throughout the whole tournament, but also he got a gold metal. Now, LeBron is not the only Cavalier to have a gold metal around his neck. Also, to mention LeBron did not play with Team USA this year.
