Stephen Curry Wins MVP
Without a doubt basketball fans you knew this was going to happen. It was a well deserved award, and nobody was on this guys level. The guy I'am talking about is Stephen Curry. Curry is the NBA's Kia Most Valuable Player. He lead players in the race like James Harden who was trying to cook his way into the race, but we know Curry is the real chef. He also lead Ohio's king LeBron James, who is a four time MVP. This is Curry's first time ever winning the MVP, and he did it at the age of 27. If you did not think he deserved the award then you are just a ignorant fan of some other player. Curry deserved the award, and so did the NBA since they are giving it to him. YouTube Stephen Curry 2015 top plays. There is the proof that he deserved the award. Curry has set a single record for three-pointers made and led the league's best regular season team in scoring, assists, and steals. Curry is the second Warriors player to win the award, joining Wilt Chamberlain, who was honored in 1959-60 when the franchise played in Philadelphia. -------
Curry totaled 1,198 points, including 100 of 130 first-place votes, from a panel of 129 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada, as well as the Kia MVP fan vote on NBA.com. Players were awarded 10 points for each first-place votes, seven points for each second-place votes, five points for each third-place votes, three points for each fourth-place votes and one point for each fifth-place votes. Houston Rockets, James Harden had 936 points and 25 first-place votes. Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James had 522 points and five first-place votes. Oklahoma's Russell Westbrook had 352 points and New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis had 203 votes with no first-place votes. -------
Curry helped the Warriors set a franchise record of 67 wins out 82 in the regular season. Curry had made SportsCenter highlights a lot this year. Curry had a voice and he let it be heard this year. He was yelling out, "Yeah! LeBron went back home. But I'am MVP this year. Harden may stir up the pot, but Im the real Chef Curry." Curry averaged 23.8 points (sixth in the NBA), 7.7 assists (sixth), a career-high 2.04 steals (fourth) and 4.3 rebounds. Also, Curry has made 286 three-pointers in one season, breaking his own NBA record of 272 set in 2012-13. He shot 48.7 percent from the field and ranked fourth in the league in three-point field goal percentage of 44.3. Curry also led the NBA in free throw percentage 91.4, converting a career high 52 consecutive free throws from March 9 to April 4. With Curry leading the way, Golden State became the 10th team in NBA history to win at least 67 games in a season. The Warriors scored 920 more points than they allowed with Curry on the court, the highest plus/minus for any player this season and an average of 11.5 points in his 80 appearances. -------
The 2014-15 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player Award is part of the Kia NBA Performance Awards, a series of on-court performances awards. The series, in its eighth season, is part of a multiyear marketing partnership between KM A and the NBA, and includes five year of the league's most prestigious year end honors: Kia Most Valuable Player, Kia Defensive Player of the Year, Kia Sixth Man of the Year Award, Kia Most Improved Player and Rookie of the Year. The series also includes the Kia NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month and the Kia NBA Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month during the regular season. Kia Motors is the Official Automotive Partner of the NBA, and the Kia Optima is the league's Official Vehicle. ------
Stephen Curry deserved this award without a doubt. LeBron even said it was "well deserved" and joked around saying another kid from Ohio. LeBron has a lot of respect for players. He is not going to talk bad about any player. Kobe Bryant on the other hand will. Kobe said his MVP choice would be James Harden. I kind of understand where he is coming from knowing that Kobe was once teammates with Dwight Howard. Harden had to carry the rockets on his back to get to where they are now and which is in the second round facing the Clippers. Stephen Curry did a lot to set a team record, especially with a rookie coach. Curry has a "Splash brother" Klay Thompson, and that is what sets them two aside. Klay can hit threes just like Curry could. But look at it this way, Warriors are a built team, not a bought team. Klay may have had a contract extension for 90 million, but it was well deserved just like Curry's MVP.

Rondo and the Mavericks
Rajon Rondo. One of the best point guards before the Chris Paul's, Stephen Curry's and Kyrie Irving talks. Rondo is one of the best passers in the Game today. He is a better passer than Chris Paul without a doubt. Chris Paul may have the assist commercials with State Farm, but that is because Paul sees more minutes on the court than Rondo. Why is Rondo not seeing minutes that he should see? Probably because he plays for a owner who is such a loud mouth crybaby, and a coach that just needs to lose his job already. Rondo and Rick Carlisle from the start never liked each other and you were able to see that. Dallas made the wrong decision to keep their head coach instead of one of NBA's best point guards. Yes, I said Rondo is one of the NBA's best point guards. Rondo may not be a scorer, probably what Dallas wanted. He is a pass first type of point guard. He is the last of a dying breed. Most point guards what to shoot the ball more than pass. I'm not saying it is a bad thing, it is just the game of basketball evolved a lot more compared to days like in the 80's. -------
Rondo's time with the Mavericks ended before Mavericks post season ended thanks to the Houston Rockets. After a disastrous 36 second stint to start the second half of Game 2, where Rondo picked up two personal fouls and a technical is an immature display that had many feeling like he quit on his team, he was benched by his head coach, never to return to the Dallas lineup. The team said a back injury was to blame, and that it would sideline Rondo indefinitely. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle later said he didn't expect Rondo to even wear a Mavericks uniform again, and now we know the reason why. -------
"Rondo never really fit with the Mavs, as the concerns about the impact of his poor shooting in coach Rick Carlisle’s flow offense quickly manifested and were never solved. The hope of a “Playoff Rondo” sighting was crushed after his poor Game 1 performance and the appearance he gave up in Game 2.The Mavs and Rondo made a mutual decision to part ways the next day, sources told ESPNDallas.com, framing the reasoning as a back injury as a favor to try to help the four-time All-Star point guard save face.
The truth was that the Mavs didn’t want Rondo, who was going to be replaced in the starting lineup regardless, pouting and rubbing off on other players, Ellis in particular. Essentially, the Mavs made a drastic move in an attempt to do damage control on a chemistry crisis," said Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas. -------
All of these bad remarks and comments about Rondo is sickening. Instead of blaming Rondo, blame the coach. I would. He is no angel. He has not won a Championship since 2011, that is 4 years. Fire him. He has not made it to the Finals in four years, Fire him! He is the reason why Dallas is not winning in my book. Dallas is just a bad place to play, and a bad place to be in I think. Ellis is not going to stay now that they did not advance in the Playoffs. A look at it! Dallas is a stacked team. We are talking about Dirk, Ellis, Amar'e, Chandler, Parsons, Harris, Felton, and Jefferson. That is a stacked team! They had a lot of point guards anyways. Dallas is making a big deal about Rondo for what reason? They are the ones talking crap about him now. That is just childish. The whole city of Dallas and the team just need to grow up and quit acting butt hurt about Rondo. It is like if they wanted to keep him anyways. If they did, they would of chose him over the coach in heart beat. I mean look at it this way, other teams are firing their head coaches. Take the Thunder for example, their coach gave them 7 great seasons. Dallas should of thought about firing their head coach. That is just my opinion. I just do not like the guy and the way Dallas is being butt hurt about Rondo. It is very childish.

Kevin Love Out For Post Season
Well, it is official. Kevin Love is out for the rest of the post season. He is out due to the shoulder injury he suffered from Game 4 against the Boston Celtics. People are already saying Game 4 was Love's last game in a Cavalier jersey. Do not know how true that is, but it is going around on social media. Love has not released a statement about it yet. They are saying Love is going to join the Los Angeles Lakers because Love will return home because he played for UCLA. They also said he will go to Los Angeles because it is a way better place than Cleveland, and Love will get the ball more. Are these typical Laker fans just saying a bunch of nonsense? Sure does kind of seem like it. But, I could be wrong. James and Love's relationship as teammates is edgy. I can see that being a reason why Love will leave Cleveland, but the rest of the rumors is plan up stupid probably coming from Laker fans. Guess we will have to wait and see, or later on see if the rumors are true.

Kevin Love Expected To Miss 2 Weeks
Yesterday, April 26, 2015, The Cleveland Cavaliers swept the Boston Celtics 4-0. It was a pretty dirty gameplay from both teams. Love left last nights game due to a shoulder injury. The play looked dirty by Kelly Olynyk, and Kevin Love thought without a doubt he did it on purpose. The video of Love and Olynyk going for the lose ball, you can tell Olynyk yanked down on Love's arm. Love said he felt fine afterwards, but he is expected to miss 2 weeks. The best thing that can happen is a long term Bulls and Bucks series, which is doubtful. The Bulls lead the series 3-1. This was the same game that J.R Smith punched Jae Crowder. Crowder had a knee injury when Smith like backhanded him. You can see in the video it was an awkward landing, but Crowder sold it off I think. Crowder probably just was embarrassed that Smith practically knocked him out. The series is over, Boston goes fishing and Cleveland advances. It was a well fought, but dirty Game 4 between the two teams. The Cavaliers will face the winner of the Bulls and Bucks series and Kevin Love might be healed in time before the series. Or maybe not. Time will only tell.

Warriors 3-0 From A 20 Point Come Back
"I been Steph Curry with the shot, been cookin' with the sauce, chef, curry with the pot, boy!" - Drake
That is what every Warrior fan is singing after Curry hit the game tying three to send the Warriors and Pelicans in overtime in Game 3. Stephen Curry is the definition of clutch! Drake knows what type of player he is talking about. He might not have meant the current Curry, but he still mentioned Curry in a song. From being down by 20 in the start of the fourth quarter to winning by 4 points. The final score was 123-119. Stephen "Chef" Curry had 40 points and 9 assists! Can you say MVP?! Curry missed the first game tying three, but Green grabbed the rebound and brought it out to Curry for the three. Curry hit the three over three Pelican defenders. Kind of ironic right? That game tying three should have been an and-1 though. Curry was clearly knocked from underneath, and last I checked that is a foul in the NBA. ----
Game four will be in New Orleans in the Smoothie King Arena on Saturday, April 25. If The Warriors take this game it will be a sweep (Just letting people who don't really understand.) If you don't know what a sweep is, it is when a team wins four games in a row, and the opposing team does not win one game at all, the team 4-0 advances to the next round. It is best out of 7 games though. No team has came back from 0-3 the NBA says, but I guess they do not remember the 2006 Miami Heat team. They were down 0-3 in the Final series against Dallas, and Wade just took command. That was the year people said Wade was in his prime. In the Playoffs anything can happen, but people do not expect the unexpected most of the time. Can the Pelicans make a come back or at least win one game? Who knows? Curry showed the world what he can do, and he is not afraid to take the most pressured shots at anytime. Playoffs are a big stage, and he's putting on a show for everyone.

Game 3 Celtics Versus Cavaliers
Today April 23, 2015, is the continuation of the series between the Cavaliers and Celtics. During the Cavaliers practice James talked about the Celtic fans not liking him. Who would not blame them? I'm not putting that in a negative way. It is just that James has always had some great rival games when the Celtics had their Big 3. Boston has always been the bigger brother to Cleveland. Boston has always beaten Cleveland when James did not have Irving (who was not even in the league yet) or Kevin Love (who was in the league in 2008, but was not with Cleveland during the time.) James put the team on his back, but in 2010 he had enough. Boston had beaten Cleveland one last time and that made James switch his jersey and number. James joined Miami. He made the decision and became the enemy Miami's first year together of James, Bosh and Wade. -------
Once Those three teamed up. There was no stopping them. Boston lost against Miami and James had his payback. He was being the Bully of the Celtics. Miami's first year with James they made it to the NBA Finals, but lost to the Dallas. The Celtics had enough and the one of the Celtics Big 3, Ray Allen, wanted to win one more ring and he ended up joining Miami. It left Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, who eventually was traded to Brooklyn. James with Miami went to the NBA Finals four times and won half of those appearances to the NBA Finals. James in the summer of 2014, made his to go back home. He had his glory and rings. He wants to bring a Championship to his home town of Cleveland, Ohio. Boston is just a team in the way that they have to face. People are calling this series a sweep. But Cleveland is in the TD Garden. Celtics Pride, Celtic Kingdom. Yeah, the Celtics might have a young team, but they have the will to win at least one game. Will the Celtics win Game 3? Tune in on TNT, the game is going on right now. It is tied at 38 in the second quarter.

Stephen Curry Not Getting Foul Calls
It is not easy being the best shooter and scorer in the game today. Stephen Curry showed off some battle wounds just from the Game 1 victory over the Pelicans. This is a best out of 7 games, but Warriors lead 2-0 in the series. If they win two more games, they sweep the Pelicans and advance to the next round. Stephen Curry showed some scabs and bruises that run up and down his arms, just from Game 1! Curry had seven free throw attempts in Game 1. One free throw attempt was taken after Quincy Pondexter's technical foul on Draymond Green, and two more foul shots were taken when New Orleans was intentionally fouling late in the game to stop the clock.
"I've got a couple scabs, but I've got a lot of real estate left for the rest of the series. Hopefully, I'll get some calls... I'm not going to get into it. I'm just going to play basketball," Curry said after Sunday's practice. -------
The Pelicans had all kinds of trouble defending the pick and roll in Game 1, opening gaps for Curry to dart into the lane. By the time he got close to the rim, he was often getting smacked by a help side defender or recovering defender. Curry is not only a shooter. He is the greatest shooter in the game today, but Curry can score around the basket. To be honest, once Curry passes half court, he can shoot it. He can have really surprising finishes at the rim. He can circus shoot around the rim also. Curry attempted three layups in Game 1 and drew no fouls. On his first finger roll at the 7:10 mark, Curry took Anthony Davis forearm to the back; on a layup that he missed, Curry got squished between Ryan Anderson and Jrue Holiday; and after Curry beat Alexis Ajinca to the rim, the 7 foot 2 back up center shoved the point guard from behind. -------
Curry always shows good sportsmanship to his officials in any arena. The Ajinca push got Curry going. Curry jumped up and down on the baseline and clapped at the referee Jason Philips, begging for a call. Fifty-five seconds later, while Festus Ezeli was shooting free throws, Curry walked over to official Sean Corbin showed him the marks on his right triceps and blood dripping down his left forearm.
"I know he got hit a couple of times on some and ones that they didn't call. He came out of the game, and he was leaking blood out of his arms. It gets more physical. The referees are only human. They're going to make mistakes, just like we do. We just have to keep playing through it," teammate Andrew Bogut said. The Warriors lead the Series 2-0. They are playing in Smoothie King Center in New Orleans now, and the next game is April 23, 9:30 PM on TNT.
Lou William Sixth Man of the Year
So every year after the season, there is this award like Most Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Player, Coach of the Year, and the Sixth Man of the Year. The only awards that been announced is the Coach of the Year and 6th Man of the Year. The Coach of the Year is Hawks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer after a tremendous season his Hawks team had. Record of 60-22, which made them the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. They also held the first two games at home in the playoffs. But, we are not talking about the Hawks. The talk of the NBA right now is Lou Williams. Lou was announced as KIA's Sixth Man of the Year. Which means, he comes off the bench, he is not a starter. He comes off the bench and puts up some great numbers for his team. Lou Williams plays for the Toronto Raptors who is currently playing the Washington Wizards. Lou came off the bench and put up some great numbers. Lou averaged a career high 15.5 points this season. This is Lou's 10th season and first with the Raptors. It was quite the surprise knowing that Lou received the Sixth Man of the Year award. Former Sixth Man, Jamal Crawford, is know for being the Sixth Man of every year. Jamal was in the race, but Lou received the most votes of 78 first- place votes and 502 total points from the panel. -------
Players are awarded five points for each first- place votes, three points for each second-place votes and one point for each third-place votes. To be eligible for the award, players have to come off the bench in more games than they started. Lou came of the bench in all 80 of his appearances and averaged 25.2 minutes. He led or tied for the team in scoring 18 times, second most in the league for a reverse, and the Raptors went 14-4 in those games. The 28 year old also lead the Raptors in free throw percentage 86.1 and made a career high 152 three pointers. On March 4, Lou set a Toronto record for points in a quarter with 21 in the fourth quarter period against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Game 1 Cavaliers Versus Celtics
If you did not watch game 1 between the Cavaliers and Celtics then you missed out on a great game. Buzzer beaters and great time rivals. This Celtics team does not have the Big 3 that they had beating Cleveland in 2010. That Big 3 included Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. This time it is Clevelands' Big 3 upsetting Boston. There was one player out of Cavaliers Big 3 that stood out. The player with no playoff experience. That is Kyrie "Uncle Drew" Irving. Irving dropped 30 points in his first playoff game and James witnessed something special. -------
"Just to be out there and see how he approached that game, his ability to shoot the ball, his ability to make plays," James said.
Irving's Game 1 against the Celtics was the second highest scoring game in a playoff debut, second only to James' 32 in his triple double game against Washington in April 2006. James was the facilitator this game. There was a lot of talk about his passing ability instead of scoring ability. James has sacrificed a lot of his scoring just to set up his teammates like Irving, Love, Smith and Mozgov. Cavaliers Head Coach Blatt talked about it with media. -------
"Obviously LeBron as the facilitator is one of the best ever, Boston is going to do what they feel they need to do in order to make us a less efficient offensive team."
Today, April 21, 2015, it is game 2 of the series of the Cavaliers and Celtics in the Quicken Loans Arena. You can watch it on TNT. Who will get the win and who will be the facilitator and scoring leader? It could be James the facilitator again and Kyrie the scorer again. Or it can go James the facilitator and Love the scorer, or Kyrie the facilitator and James the scorer. Either way it is a rough night for Boston. Also, the bench can step up their game for the Cavaliers. It is just a harsh series for the young Celtics team.

LeBron Sarcastically Picks Kevin Love as MVP
There has been a lot of rumors and talks about Kevin Love and LeBron James. Rumors that Love wants to opt out his contract already. Also, the chemistry between the two. People noticed LeBron never really posted Instagram pictures with Love, but with other players. There is reports out that Love and James are not best friends. You do not have to be best friends to win a championship together. If LeBron James reall wants the "aloof" Kevin Love to be in Cleveland Cavaliers uniform next year, he sure has a weird way of showing it. The four- time NBA Most Valuable Player was asked the typical, "Who's your pick for MVP?" Questions before the Cavaliers final game of the regular season on Wednesday.
"Who would your vote be for MVP?" a reporter asked.
"Who would be my vote?" James said, pausing to think. "Umm, Kevin Love."
The reporters erupted into laughter. James turned to his locker.
Does LeBron want Love to stay in his home town uniform? Or does he have a sense of humor that Love would take offensively? Or will he take it offensively at all?
NBA Players Reaction To Devastating Thabo Sefolosha Injury by NYPD
The playoffs are coming up Saturday night. The Atlanta Hawks are the number 1 team to beat in the East Conference as they are the number one seed. The Hawks will be without player Thabo Sefolosha who will be recovering from a devastating broken leg injury he claims came from the result of overly aggressive New York police officers. The details led to Sefolosha's season ending injury will not be settled until the situation reaches the court of law. Sefolosha was at a nightclub in the Chelsea area of New York. A healthy and contributing member of the Number 1 seed Atlanta Hawks damaged goods after a video showed five New York police officers wrestling him to the ground and another beating down his lower body with a baton. -------
LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers had to say this, "It's an unfortunate event for sure."
The NBA, and NYPD internal affairs office are looking into the incident which came after Indiana Pacer forward Chris Copeland was stabbed outside a nightclub the Chelsea area of New York.
"Really disappointed with what happen to Thabo. Obviously, police, they have a dangerous job to do. Sefolosha is a big guy compared to normal people and probably some of those police officers. So if he did anything to warrant that, that's one thing. But the stories that we get, he didn't do anything to warrant that. I understand that they have a scary job to do and they want to use force to make sure they get home at night. It's understandable, but somebody in that group had to know that was Thabo Sefolosha. Somebody knew in that crew knew that was an NBA player. I feel like it's another way it could've been handled." Says Washington Wizards forward Rasual Butler.
Butler would like to see more NBA players speak out on behalf of Sefolosha, who faces six months of rehabilitation while his team attempts to win an NBA Championship with out him. Sefolosha's injury came only moments after Copeland and a female friend were slashed in a early April 8th morning. In addition to knife wounds to his left elbow and abdomen, Copeland also sustained a broken elbow and a fractured rib in the fracas. -------
James, his first season as vice president of the players' union, said he takes security with him when he socializes but does everything in his power to avoid trouble.
"I don't bother nobody. I have a good time, just like everyone else. I stay to myself, I'm not the last to one to leave. I always leave before everybody else and I'm very responsible. I understand the target that we have on our backs as athletes and as professional athletes and the jealousy that comes from that sometimes when you're out. So you got to be as responsible as possible and that's what teams have security for, too. You have security, those guys should be with us when we're out in public and buffer those things away from us."

LeBron's MVP
If LeBron had the choice to vote for MVP, you know who he would pick? It is not the talk of the whole race Stephen Curry or James Harden. Even though Curry said he would of vote for LeBron if he could not vote for himself. But, it looks like Curry and LeBron are not that different after all. LeBron said he would vote for himself as season MVP. LeBron is playing the fewest minutes out of his career, 36 minutes per game. LeBron's player efficiency rating is currently 26.0, which is his lowest mark since 2007. According to the comparison though, James Harden has a 27.0 player efficiency rating, and bad man Stephen Curry has a 27.6 player efficiency. LeBron's first season back with the Cavaliers should be his reason why he should win MVP right? He took two superstars who never been to the playoffs into the playoffs as a second seed! So, should he be the season MVP? To be honest, I do not think he should win MVP. The MVP is Stephen Curry or Russell Westbrook. Why do one of these two deserve it? Well, first, LeBron has veterans like James Jones, Mike Miller, Shawn Marion, Timofey Mozgov, J.R. Smith, and Iman Shumpert. Does LeBron deserve MVP for taking a team with 6 veterans to the Playoffs? These six have playoff experience. Really, only Kyrie, Love and Thompson have not been to the playoffs. Stephen Curry deserves it in my opinion. He is putting up big numbers, not only in points, but also assists. The only thing that makes him weak in this MVP race is his defensive skills. You look at all the Stephen Curry highlights, it is just MVP type of playing that you see. He deserves it. Golden State cannot win without him. There was this one game where Stephen Curry sat out with an ankle injury, and Klay Thompson was still playing. The other Splash Brother, could not get the win without Stephen Curry. So, Klay is not a big reason why Stephen Curry has been looking good and racking up assists. Straight up Golden State is nothing without Curry. As for Westbrook, he is a triple double machine. To be honest he should be the number one talk or spot of the race. He has recorded 11 triple double this season. 11! The only reason why he is not number one is because he cannot win games putting up those triple doubles. Westbrook needs Durant to help him win games. Durant out for the season, Thunder losing games. They are out of the playoff picture too, so that automatically counts Westbrook out of the race? I do not know. The media are the voters. It is the peoples choice. Just pick the person who you think deserves it.

LeBron Congratulates Duke For Winning National Championship
It was a heart breaking, intense, TV breaking, constant cussing, and great NCAA tournament this year. Kentucky was suppose to be the Cinderella to go undefeated the whole year. Win 40 straight games with no losses. But, unfortunately Kentucky loss when they won 38 games with no losses. Their first loss was in the Final Four against the Wisconsin Badgers. That would send Wisconsin to the Championship game against The Duke Blue Devils. It was a well fought game, both teams kept it close for awhile. The team that had more fight inside the dog is who won though. That is the Duke Blue Devils who were coached by Mike Krzyzewski better known as "Coach K" who coaches Team USA. We all know LeBron has never went to college, straight out of High school. LeBron has never had the chance to compete for a national championship, but he is there and celebrating with his former Coach, Coach K. LeBron has never got Coach K basketball education at Duke, but he had with Team USA in the Olypics. -------
After the Duke Blue Devils beat the Wisconsin Badgers in the Nation Championship game. LeBron captioned a little message on a picture posted on twitter for Coach K:
"I've been to the highest mountain top with u 2x so last night wasn't a surprise cause I know how GREAT you are at what u do!! My FAVORITE! Congrats K!
In 2016 there will be the hosting of the 2016 Rio Olympics and maybe LeBron has one more good run in him. Coach K will most likely be in the coaching staff for Team USA. As we all know, LeBron is not beating father time and this could be his last run with Coach K. But, in the meantime, LeBron is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Coach K and win a championship this year. We will see what happen when the playoffs start this month on April 19th.

Paul George Return and LeBron Shows Some Love
As the Cleveland Cavaliers got their 50th win of the season clinching the second seed in the Eastern Conference, players were in the locker room chatting with reporters. While the Cavaliers were chatting with reporters, Indiana Pacers' Small Forward Paul George was lacing up some Kobe 10's for his first game of the season. As we know Paul George suffered a gruesome leg breaking injury during an Team USA scrimmage of the summer of 2014. The injury cause George to miss the playing with Team USA who won gold last summer, and caused him to miss the 76 games of the season. George had a standing ovation as he checked into the game for the first time this season. During his return George played 15 minute and scored 13 points. It is also his first time debuting his new jersey number 13. It will be a pretty sick nickname jersey to have "PG 13." I think it was ironic that PG 13 scored 13 points in his debut. -------
LeBron gave George a shout out on twitter saying, " Absolutely great day for my Nike Brother and homie @yg_trece! Congrats man on the journey all the way..."
LeBron and George had some great and historic battles in the Playoffs when LeBron was with the Heat. There is clear respect for both players though, will always be deep and mad respect between both player no matter which team they play for. I was definitely great to see the Pacer star to return from an injury that touched a lot of players who watched George go down with the injury. If you watched the scrimmage, I bet you can remember how devastated the players on Team USA were. They had to stop the rest of the game because players were so shocked. This injury was more than likely the reason Kevin Durant resigned playing with Team USA last summer. Now hopefully the Indiana Pacers can reach and fight for that 8th spot in the Eastern Conference.

Being A Role Model
You know what is also crazy? In life, you might just be a role model to so many people. It is crazy to think of. Like, you never really thought you would be a role model to anyone besides your cousins or siblings. There is this one little kid right? He just looks up to me like really. When he sees me he yells my name. Tells me to sit by him. He tells me he wants to shoot like me and play ball like me. He shows me how I shoot, and I just adore it. It brings a smile to my face. I also, received letters from kids that are in elementary at my school. Saying they want to shoot like me also, and if I could teach them sometime. They think I am the best three point shooter in the school. I honestly do not think I am, but they bring so much confidence to my dream. Words cannot explain how I feel about the kids that look up to me. If I had a talk with all the kids that play basketball and look up to me, I would do it. -------
I would tell them, "I never thought I would be a role model to any one. I've grown up as a troubled kid. I've grown up parents and kids not liking me. It was hard at times. I looked towards drugs sometimes, but that is never the case. Drugs do not make you cool, or stronger or literally do not help you at all. It is all mental. Being picked on, bullied, name calling, is all mental. If you choose to let those words bother you, then you will be what people say. I've grown up with not that much role models in my life. I've had an uncle who was my big brother, and he was not constantly around. He drifted from that big brother spot. Then one day he fell in love and left Saint Paul. It happens, not occasionally, but life throws some difficult tasks at times. If it is losing some one, or anything that brings your self confidence down. I'm blessed with you kids looking up to me. I really am. But, always be you. Never want to be another person 100 percent. If you do then you're just a shadow of someone else. Do not be a shadow, but if you create your own, then do not abuse your role. Life is filled with so many options, always take them. I like to think of it as a rainbow, and you need to make your own colors. Do not be a regular rainbow, all those colors are getting boring right? Each of your paths in life represents your colors of your rainbow." -------
That would just be a little taste of what I got to tell kids. I know I left out key ingredients, but that is why I said a taste of what I got to tell them. It is hard to know what you're going to say with all those kids just looking at you and paying attention. Listening words from word. Basketball players are role models to every kid basically in this world. I know, I still need some growing up to do, and I look forward to it. I've grown already, and the kids that look up to me, are my reason to follow my dreams. To show them it is possible to chase your dreams. Come out of Alaska on a small island and do something big with their lives. Life is full of surprises, I'm surprised, but I know there is more to come. I love where I come from. And I love all the people that believe in me and the ones that do not. It all makes an impact on my life.
"This came to mind... you know.. if you're a ball player. And YOU Have Some BIG Dreams Right? You always have people that support you and will down talk you. It reminds me of back in the day.. watching all these kobe Bryant interviews and docs. Trash talk was an art of basketball right? It's lost now.. the trash talk went to the people watching the pros. People don't want to see you make it. They want you to get scooped down to their level. Your dream is your game.. and your opponent is the people around you. Weird how people just blend in. Don't Let People Take Your Dreams away. Cause some times reality is just an off day in your Dreams." - Shawn Hanson
Life is really crazy. Like people will alway support you, and that is your fans if you think about it. Your home town fans that always want you to get the win. College and Professional level. The people that do not want to see you succeed is a well lesson also. I experienced it playing High school basketball. Hearing people cheer against you and boo you. It is music to my ears. I'm trying to put it into reality also. After High school, I know I will not have as much support as much as I did in High school. It is adapting to a new style basically. My coach always told me though, "Don't live with what ifs." What if I did not do this or that. You do not want to regret trying new possibilities especially if they were given. Who knows? You might become something big in life like you always dreamt of. Anything is possible, but it is always up you you mentally and physically, make something out of your life.
Valuable Life Lessons From King
"As a father, one of our most important roles is to teach our children valuable life lessons. I take my role seriously, and tonight, after our family dinner and after all their homework is done, my boys are going to learn how to take an earth shaking, electronic beat down. Dad can only take so much smack talk!!!!!!"
It also showed a picture of the case of NBA 2K15. A father indeed he is. It may not always be easy knowing James is traveling places for the Season. Valuable time like this is what he probably cherishes because he does not get much of it. This might also get his mind off something before the Playoffs coming around the corner in April. Dad is going to show to his kids why he is the "King" on and off the court. Knowing that James did not have his father around during his childhood has not stopped him to do the same to his children. It was probably his deepest fears of becoming a parent, is to become a father that his father was to him. James probably knew from the start that he would never abandon his children and wonderful family that he has.

Wild, Wild, Wild, Wildcats!
It is March Madness and the Kentucky Wildcats have been bringing the Madness. Everyone is either rooting for or rooting against the Wildcats. The Team of Karl Anthony Towns who could possible be the lottery pick in this years NBA Draft. Last night, In Cleveland there was a tsunami of Blue in the Quicken Loans Area. The Wildcats faced the West Virginia, and West Virginia had no place to escape. The final score was 78-39.
West Virginia coach had to say this about facing the Wildcats, "They were where I thought they were, that's the best defensive team I think that I've ever coach against. And when they're making shots, there's nobody going to beat them."
Now the Wildcats who are 37-0 after beating West Virginia, will not face the Fighting Irish Notre Dame. I do not think anyone will beat the Wildcats this year unless they have a bad night and if their big men are not grabbing rebounds and blocking shots. It is going to be a tough game. Kentucky versus Notre Dame in the elite 8.
Down With The King
The Cleveland Cavaliers have clinched a playoff birth and are cruising by to keep their record going to keep the second spot in the playoffs. The Atlanta Hawks have the best record in the East having an amazing season.
This is what the King of Cleveland LeBron James had to say about the team, "Early on in the season, we weren't the team we are now obviously, but I've always said it's a process, and you have to understand that, and we all have to understand that it's a process. And it's good to know where we are right now and the type of game that we're playing now."
Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love have not been to the playoffs, and now it is their time to see if they can live up to the expectation they have shown this season. Can they live up to the hype? Can they trust themselves enough, and keep up their team chemistry? Are any of them willing to step up to the plate when it comes game time to take over the game if needed? Especially can they let another teammate take over when they have the hot hand. They have LeBron, Miller, Jones, Marion, and a couple others that have playoff experience. It is a time to win a championship. Bring their first championship to Cleveland.
Shooting
Nowadays, the most thing people want to do in the sport of basketball is shoot the ball. Yeah, I admit, I want to shoot the ball a lot when I have the chance to. Does that make me a ball hog? Well, it probably does. To be honest, I think it depends on what mood I am in. I know for sure being on a basketball team I will do whatever it takes to win. I will, shoot, pass, dive, and handle the ball. Shooting is like a great art of basketball in my eyes. There are so many different shots. My favorite shooter is Stephen Curry. Every time I shoot, I want it to be like his. I know I will never be the shooter he is, and have the exact shooting form. I will always and only be me. I might have similarities, but I will alway be me. Shooting the ball takes years and years of practice unless, you were born with the talent. I've heard my coach tell me that I am one of the greatest shooters in Saint Paul, and I was not born with the talent. I did not come out of my mother with a basketball, I had to work. I will never understand why shooting is the greatest feeling to me. When you're having a great night and everything you put up just goes in! That is a great feeling. Like there is no words to describe that moment you are in. You just feel like eating an invisible bowl of cereal. Also, when you're having an off day. It is a learning experience still. It is like a shooters god telling you that you are still human. It is a reminder that you are not always untouchable, you are not a god. Nowadays, you see kids just want to shoot the ball, and shoot threes. Sometimes I feel passing is a loss art form of basketball now. I love to make assists also, I really do. Also, having handles and breaking peoples ankles. That is an amazing feeling also. Crossing someone over, making people fall to the ground or floor. It makes you laugh sometimes. You know what though? It still never beats shooting in my eyes. Shooting is just something I can not describe to you. You just have to watch videos on youtube or go out and shoot the ball a lot. Feel the feeling that I love and the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry.
"I want to practice to the point where it's almost uncomfortable how fast you shoot, so that in the game things kind of slow down." -Stephen Curry

$340 Million Nike Shoe Sales From LeBron's Shoes
Coming back home was a great decision for James, but must to add on to another great season. James' signature shoe from Nike has should rapidly making $340 million dollars. According to Forbes.com sales for James' Nike shoe rose 13 percent over a 12 month period through January. James' shoes are the top seller in the NBA rising over former MVP, Kevin Durant. Durants' Nike signature shoe has sold $195 million. James was aware of his shoe sales, and was asked after the Nets game what he thought about his shoes sale numbers.
"For me, my main thing is about playing basketball, obviously I love my partnership with Nike. We've done so many great things, but it starts with performance and all of us at Nike we perform first and we let everything take care of itself. For me to be able to have those numbers just means that fans still love what I do on the floor. They appreciate how I approach the game and everything else benefits from that," James said.
That is not only it, James' Number 23 Cavaliers Jerseys is NBA's best seller. James is Forbes biggest earner off the court making $44 million this year in endorsements. The Cavaliers are also off to a hot start since January 15 with the record of 25-6, and taking the second seed away from the Bulls trailing behind the Atlanta Hawks. The Cavaliers have a 14 home game willing streak and the playoffs are just around the corner 12 games away. For LeBron and the Cavaliers business is great.
J.R. Smith Say Cleveland Cavaliers Are The Best Team He Has Ever Been On
The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired J.R. Smith in a three way team trade. The Cavaliers would get rid of Dion Waiters and acquired two player from the New York Knicks. Dion went to Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Cavaliers got a lottery pick like trade that included J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert. The Cavaliers staff asked James about Smith and James approved him coming over. The two former Knicks have been great to the team and working out their differences and working on their chemistry. It has been looking great. The Cavaliers have also been great to J.R. Smith. Smith is really happy with the Cavaliers showing his love for his teammates on his Instagram. Smith also said this is the most fun he's ever had with any team. Most players just take basketball as a job, but you have to have fun and love the game to get wins. It looks like that is how the Cavaliers play, and this might make Smith want to come back next year. Smith has a player option for 2015-16 season, and given that he is set to make over $6 million on that option. It would be a great surprise to see Smith back next year on the Cavaliers 2015-16 roster, because he has been a big addition to the roster this season. The front office should get him to come back for the Cavaliers without a doubt, and should try asking him about that already. He loves it in Cleveland, and hopefully that will make him stay with the team for a long period of time.
LeBron Questionable For Tonight Vs Pacers
Today, Friday, March 20, 2015, LeBron James is questionable for tonights game versus the Indiana Pacers. It is no injury this time, or rest. This time it is illness. James missed todays shoot around at home. James has missed 11 games this season mostly due to his back injury. The Cavaliers look to face a Pacer team who is on a three game losing streak and is out of the playoff picture. The Pacers had hype of Paul George coming back this month, but decided it was best not due to team chemistry. The Pacers beat the Cavaliers on February 27, but the Cavaliers did not have James or Irving. The Cavaliers are currently on a 14 home game winning streak and a hungry Indiana Pacers team looks to break that streak. Do not count James out just yet. It is game time decision for him, and he will do what is best for his health.
MVP Race
There is no doubt that there are some great choices for Most Valuable Player of the season award. There are some big names this year like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Stephen Curry. Westbrook has show some Most Valuable Player skills knowing that Kevin Durant was out from a couple of injuries. Westbrook was being a triple double machine, showing off that he does not only score the ball, but can get rebounds and assists. Stephen Curry's name is up in the list having an excellent season this year. Being the fastest player to hit 1,000 three pointers. LeBron had a sketchy start, but the Cavaliers came together and now is one of the best chemistry teams in the NBA. Stephen Curry is at the top of the NBA ballot for MVP. Stephen was not modest about his answer when he was asked who he would vote for MVP, he said he would vote for himself. If he did not have the option to vote for himself he then said he would vote for LeBron James. The best shooter in the NBA would vote for the Best Player in the NBA today.

Cleveland Vs Miami
Today, March 16, 2015, the Cleveland Cavaliers visited the Miami Heat down in South Beach. There is no words to this game besides the Cavaliers did not come to play, and the Heat had a fire start. The final score was 96- 106 Heat. The game was one sided since the Heat got their head start in the first quarter. LeBron finished with 26 points and 4 assists, and Kyrie Irving had 21 points and 6 assists. Kyrie had a low scoring game compared to his previous games. Irving just looked cold out there. All he can do is shake it off and say it was a bad day. Everyone has those days. LeBron had some low number of assists in the first half. I do not know what he was trying to prove coming back to South Beach, but it did not happen or work out. LeBron may have had the most points for the Cavaliers, but it was a bad game coming from him. Overall bad game for the Cavaliers sloppy defense and buckets just could not go in. Before tipoff though, it showed James and Chris Bosh talking and hugged. It was sure good to see Bosh attending games from being the hospital for blood clots in his lungs. Showing love to each other before the game. They may have had their differences and James leaving South Beach to go back home. That does not mean they can still have the brotherly bond like James and Wade have, even though they had a rough start to the season around each other. People made sport reports about Bosh and James saying that they do not like each other more that James went home. These two guys are still brothers at the end of the day, it is just basketball.

Kid Flips Off LeBron Behind Spurs Bench
The big talk about the Cavaliers and Spurs game was Kyire Irvings big 57 point performance. But there is some talk of this video of LeBron while he was standing in front the Spurs bench of a kid giving LeBron the bird with both hands. James has always had some good match ups with the Spurs and there is no doubt that Spurs fans do not like him. I mean he has so much hate that a young Spurs fan would give James the bird. James is usually the role model for most young kids, but no in San Antonio I guess. Loyalty over respect I guess the kid thought. His parents must be embarrassed about the video going viral. No word on James seeing the video, but pretty sure he does not care about it. James has received so much hate from so many fans it does not even bother him anymore. It is not easy being loved with the nickname "King" especially if people do not believe you deserve the name. It was given to him and then he deserves it. Players will be players, and fans will be fans.
Kyrie "Uncle Drew" Irving Clutch
Uncle Drew Aka Kyrie Irving is stepping up his game and abilities more this year. This guy is amazing to watch. Think watching him on TV is incredible, imagine watching the cross overs, ankle breaking, dribbling between the legs, confusing his defenders in person. Watching him do his thing court side. Now that would be amazing. Last night against the Spurs Irving had a career high 57 points. The Cavaliers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 128- 125 featuring overtime thanks to Irving hitting a last second three pointer. Irving was 7 for 7 from behind the arc. Irving was on fire shooting and making 20 of his 32 attempts while being guarded against a team that usually has great defense. After the game Irving credited Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant.
This is what Irving said after the game, " As long as my elbow is pointed at the rim, I feel like it has a great chance to go in. I learned that from Kobe Bryant. If you get a good look at it and your elbow is pointed at the rim, it has a chance of going in."
Irving is crediting Bryant with his performance shooting wise, but I do not think he could credit Bryant for his dribbling skills against the Spurs or his finishing by the rim. Who does Kyrie remind you of dribbling past defenders and finishing with any hand. I do not think he reminds me of anyone besides his own self. Irving is his own unique player and he always surprises people and get's a lot of "ohh's" and ahh's."
What Is Up With Kevin Love?
Last night during the Cavaliers win against the San Antonio Spurs, Kevin Love sat on the bench the whole fourth quarter. He looked fine enough to play, he did not look injured or anything. Maybe Coach Blatt is just sitting him. For what though? Close game like these you need Kyrie, Smith, James, Love and Mozgov on the court. Cavaliers were down in the fourth, but it came to the youngest player on the team to tie the ball game. Kyire "Uncle Drew" Irving. People were saying Love was in the tunnel when Coach Blatt wanted to sub him, and Mike Miller had to run after him. Does Love want to stay with the Cavaliers? Does he really LOVE his role on the Cavaliers? Or does he want it to be like the Timberwolves and be the star taking all the shots? Who knows? All I know that Love was not heading back to the locker rooms when he was in the tunnel. Love was riding the bike because his back. Love has been suffering from a back injury. He did not want to sit on the chairs and make his back stiff. Love rode the bike to keep his back stretched out and keep warm. People are blaming Love for only having 8 points. I'am pretty sure it is Timberwolve fans still heartbroken from Love leaving. Love accepts his role for Cleveland and pretty sure he knows that whatever LeBron and Blatt wants him to do is what is what will help him win championships. Love does not care what people have to say about him, he just worries about getting the win. Rumors will start about Love wanting to leave Cleveland, but it is just rumors and talk. Love's back is just hurting for all those who saw that Love did not play in the fourth quarter.

Headband
LeBron James has been playing great for the past two games, well, it is no surprise. What is a surprise to people is that LeBron is not wearing a headband. People are making a big deal that he is not wearing it, making meme's and saying he is a different player without the headband. It is just a headband, it does not change the way you play. Yeah, James has been wearing a headband since he was in high school and it stuck until this very day. There is no report saying why James is not playing without the headband, but it is kind of a big shock to the world. Last year with the Miami Heat, James lost his headband on a play and he just went insane after that. He put up big numbers during that game, and that is when the buzz started for James without a headband. It got crazy, it came to a point where they were making statistics of James with and without a headband. They made no headband James seem better than the one with a headband. LeBron is just a whole different player this year, well, he is a different player every year. He is always improving himself every year. Adapt to his different roles, and being the captain of the team. That is just who he is. Headband or not, it does not make a difference. You can go out on the court with a headband on it still will not make you play like LeBron. Even if you wear his shoes it will not make you play like him.

Greatest Loss Is Not Losing, Greatest Loss Is Not Going 0 Too 100 Real Quick
Well, basketball is a competitive sport. People love the game, some people take it seriously and as a job. How are you going to have love and passion for the game if you take it as a job? If you love the game and have it as a job then that is great. But, if you do not love the game and just take it seriously and say it is your job to win these games and not lose any then that is boring basketball. Real basketball player play the game to have fun, for the love, and to enjoy their time just playing the sport. You can be the worst team and if you have fun and lose all your games, that is great if you have fun, but you have to take it seriously at one point. Not as serious where you have to consider it a job or a mission. Just play the game and have fun. If you are having fun and doing what you are suppose to, then things will turn out good. If you give 100 percent and do not give up and strive for greatness. Then you should achieve what ever you desire. The ambition to go to 0 to 100 real quick. We are not talking about Drake, we may be quoting him. I'm talking about pushing yourself to limits where you feel you can only push yourself so far without hurting yourself. Basketball is not meant to take seriously to a point where you hate it, it is only suppose to be taken seriously where you have fun and try to win games as much as you can. If you think you are a winner at heart, then you are. If you think you are not at your full potential to be a champion quite yet. Work on your game, and work on yourself physically and mentally. Love basketball, do not hate it. Do not let negative come in between what you love to make you hate the game. Also love the people you play with that is on your team, and come together as a family. Families fight and have their differences, but always work it out. All teams should be families. Not by blood, but by their chemistry, trust and love for one another. Being a Sea Parrot is family the way I see it. If you are a Sea Parrot with all your heart. Then here is one last cheer. Sea Parrots Family on three. One... Two... Three... Sea Parrots Family.

Kendrick Perkins LeBrons' Hype Man
Cavaliers center Kendrick Perkins is known for his abilities on the court like the ability to bang, intimidate and enforce, but motivational speaking is not one of his abilities you would associate with him. He continues to bond and associate with them, and his best and most powerful attributes so far in his words, and his LeBron James is hearing him loud and clear. Before you see the starters take court, you'll catch Perkins forcefully wrapping his arms around James and he begins speaking words of encouragement in his ear. James would then nod his head as he soaks in the words. When Perkins speaks, players listen.
"I've done it all the time," Perkins told Northeast Ohio Media Group.
"I'm just getting them ready because I know we're all in the same boat looking for the same thing. You've got to take care of your dogs."
As of right now, Perkins' mission is to make sure number 23 squashes the disrespectful comparison that Perkins says James has been receiving this year.
Valanciuncas Fouls LeBron
Jonas Valanciunas got under LeBrons' skin Wednesday night in the Cavaliers vs Raptors game. LeBron retaliated with putting numbers up on the scoreboard, after Valanciunas tackled him on a drive in the late third quarter. LeBron put up 14 of his 29 in the fourth quarter, and had a career high 14 assists to beat the Raptors 120-112. Valanciunas was called for a fragrant- 1 foul and got a loud cheer from the crowd.
LeBron said this about being fouled, " The game is more important than trying to deliver a hard foul. It's the old elementary school house rule that the second guy always gets caught. You just relax and play the game."
LeBron was not happy about it, and showed it when Valanciunas tried to help him up. Of course LeBron was asked by media why he did not let valanciunas help him up.
"Why would I need his help up? My teammates will come get me. That's all that matters" James said.
"I wasn't trying to hurt him, I was just trying to stop him from dunking," Valanciunas said.
Wesley Matthews Out
Wesley Matthews suffered a gruesome injury Thursday night, a torn Achilles just less 50 days before the playoffs. This is a bummer for the Trail Blazers and Matthews. Could the Blazers hold and clinch the playoff birth? Matthews was one of the people that was in the All-Star 3-Point Competition. Without a doubt Matthews is one of the Blazers three- point shooters. Damian Lillard is a three- point shooter, but he has to play his role as a point guard. Facilitate the ball, and control the tempo. Matthews was the shooting guard of the Blazers, and according to many sport news the Blazers tried contacting Ray Allen to fill in Matthews spot. Allen declined the Blazers keeping his words that he will not play for any team this season and will announce his future during the summer. Who will replace Blazers guard Wesley Matthews? That is not announced yet. Remember people, this is the same injury Future Hall of Fame Player Kobe Bryant suffered last season. Kobe said the Achilles injury was the hardest to recover from. This is a physical and mental injury to recover from. This is not easy at all. It is also the injury that retired a lot of players. So, everyone wish Matthews a speedy recovery, and come back from this injury.

21 and Counting
LeBron continued to make his mark on the record books Tuesday, as he passed his former teammate Ray Allen for number 21 on the NBA's all-time scoring list in the Cavaliers' 11-79 win over the Celtics. James made a layup with 7:49 remaining in the third quarter which gave him 25 points for the game, edging him past Allen. James finished with 27 points and is now three points a head of Ray Allen's 24,505- point career total.
James said, "I didn't know until I came to the bench and the guys congratulated me, and I was like, 'For what? For making a layup?'"
"They go," 'You passed Ray Allen.' That's one of my best friends. That's the guy that I competed against, I grew up watching and then to be able to team with him the last two years when I was in Miami, I learned so much from him about work ethic, about being a professional, and it just added on to my game.
"To know I passed him tonight, it's very humbling. I guess I've done some pretty good things in this league so far."
James also added with a laugh, "He'll make one 3 and then retire? I don't know. But it is pretty cool to pass him."

Derrick Rose
Derrick Rose is the greatest Bull to play the game since the Era of Michael Jordan. What really separates the two is that Rose does not have six championship rings. Also, Jordan did not face as many injuries as Derrick Rose has. People might down talk Rose and say his career should just end. He is never healthy in any season anyway. Rose suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee. Rose torn the same meniscus in November 2013 which caused him to miss the rest of the 2013-14 season. Rose has been through a lot. He torn his ACL in the finals in the 2013 playoffs in the first round. Chicago fans are devastated of constant his constant injuries, but do they give up on their Chicago star? No. They do not. Any Rose fan knows that nothing will stop Rose. He is always motivated to come back. It is a problem to stay healthy for the guy and he must go through a lot. A lot of stress re-injuring his knees and going through rehab to make a comeback. A lot of people probably tell him that he can not come back. That is okay though. It is motivation to prove the doubters wrong. Derrick Rose is a strong point guard. Not even a real bull would be able to stop him.
LeBron James Jr Getting Scholarships At Age 10
Most kids at the age of 10 get toys, a new cell phone, a PS3, Xbox 360, etc... But do kids at the age of 10 get college scholarships? Most people would say no right? Well, LeBron James Jr is getting college scholarships at the age of 10. Yes! The age of 10. LeBron James Jr can ball up the court we know that seeing his YouTube videos. For kids now days, but like 7 or 8 years older would love to be in James Jrs' place right now. People would have to say a lot of great things about this. Like the kid has his future already planed out. BUT! What does LeBron James Sr "The King" have to say? Here is what he said about colleges already trying to recruit his 10 year-old son.
"Yeah, he's already got some offers from colleges, it's pretty crazy. It should be a violation. You shouldn't be recruiting 10 year-old kids."
LeBron did not name any of the colleges that were trying to recruit LeBron Jr. But, the LeBron does not seem to happy that colleges are already have LeBron Jr on their radar. Without a doubt this kid has talent and even his father knows it.
Heres what LeBron had to say about Jr's game play, "He plays just like I did, he has great awareness, and he'd rather pass first and set guys up. Most kids nowadays just want to score."
LeBron Jr has time to develop into a great player like his father though. He is only 10, colleges just need to wait like six more years to see what his future will really hold. He is still young and who knows if even wants to play college or go pro. Just because he is "The Kings'" son, does not mean he will want to play ball like his father. Who knows? He is still young.

Shawn Marion Update
Well, Cavalier fans. Shawn "The Matrix" Marion is out for two weeks due to a strained left hip. The team announced the results of an MRI that Marion took at the Cleveland Clinic. The 16 year veteran has not played since the season resumed last week, and has missed three of the last eight games. Cavaliers head coach David Blatt spoke on Marion in mornings practice prior to a Pistons game today.
This is what Coach Blatt said, "I knew before that Shawn wasn't feeling great. That's the reason he wasn't playing. He wasn't healthy. We really wanted to give him a chance to get through this problem as we have done on several other occasions this year with other players. I think it's good that he'll take the time to rest and rehabilitate and to get the treatment he needs to come back when he's fully ready to play."
Marion spoke on himself saying, "I've been trying to fight through it as much as I can, but it's causing me a lot of discomfort. I just want to get back to 100 percent healthy."
The problem first surfaced in early January and resulted in spotty playing time. With the issue getting worse, Marion's time on the court dropped even further. During the teams last eight game in February, he averaged just under eight minutes per game. Hope to see a full and healthy Marion before his final season ends like he announced last month.
LeBron James Passes Allen Iverson
When the Cleveland Cavaliers played the New York Knicks last Sunday. It was not only Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smiths' return. Some history was made in the making. LeBron James passed on of his childhood heroes, Allen Iverson, for number 22 on the NBA's all-time scoring list in the Cavaliers 101-83 win versus the Knicks. LeBron before the game came in trailing just by three points behind Iverson, and wasted little time to pass him, scoring four points in the first 1 minute and forty-four minutes of the game. After finishing with 18 points, LeBron has scored 24, 383 points in his NBA career.
This is what LeBron had to say about passing Iverson, "It's very, very humbling, and it's an honor to just be named with some of the greats that I watched growing up, and now to know that I passed Allen Iverson on the all-time scoring list, for someone that's not much of a scorer as you guys have deemed me, it is pretty cool."
"It just means that my teammates have allowed me to do things to help them win ballgames, and I've been fortunate enough to go out and bless the game the best way I know how and just play hard." James added on his accomplishment.
Passing Iverson on the all-time scoring list was yet another accomplishment by James while playing at Madison Square Garden, where he had big games.
"It's always special being in this building, like I said last week it's the mecca of basketball. So it's always special to get on the court."
He is 122 points behind the number 21 player on the list, his former Miami Heat teammate, Ray Allen.
LeBron James Jr Is At It Again
In New Orleans, LA, LeBron James, Jr. once again is showing off his skills and proving he is a chip off the old block. The 10-year-old led his youth basketball team in the John Lucas All Star Weekend invitation-only tournament, which is the most prestigious tournaments in the country. James Jr's coach told TMZ Sports that the team has not lost a game yet since "Bronny" joined the team in December. James Jr. made headlines back in December for the flashy moves that he was doing on the court. They have a video on YouTube of James Jr. making some sick moves like insane crossovers, and dribbling behind the back and some deep three point shots. His coach said this about James Jr also, "He's awesome. He played amazing. He averaged double digits. Bronny's just an all around good kid." On social media LeBron James posted pictures of his son and team with their championship trophy and their rings. He also posted in the description, "Congrats Bronny and your teammates on winning the championship in New Orleans. You, Bryce and Z are my heroes!! #JamesGang #StriveForGreatness." Check out the videos of James Jr. and think about if this kid will be better than his father when he gets older. Without a doubt, this kid probably already has college recruiters scouting him. He is doing all this at the age of 10. Will James Jr. be better than his father? You be the judge of it, and check out his video. Only takes like 10 minutes of your life.

LeBron James: "We Can Win A Title With This Roster"
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were expected to be championship contenders immediately after they signed LeBron James and acquired Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The trade deadline was yesterday, but LeBron James made his voice heard that the Cavaliers should stay pat. LeBron also made it clear that he thinks the Cavaliers can win a championship with their current roster. Cleveland went on a twelve game win streak recently, and they have the talent to win a championship without question. They just acquired J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, and Timofey Mozgov, and those three guys are a big part of the reason that they went on the long win streak. James, Irving, and Love are all too good to not figure things out down the stretch of the season. James had been a great leader this season for the Cavaliers, and has became more vocal as the season moves forward. It is going to be an entertaining end to the season for the Cavaliers, and they are looking more and more like legitimate championship contenders. They still have some work to do, but James' confidence is an encouraging sign.
LeBron and Chris Bosh Still Bros?
Reportedly, LeBron James sent Chris Bosh a message on twitter recording to FORTHEW!N News. Chris Boshs' health has been going around in the media and there are talks about the Miami Heat player being sidelined for the remainder of the season or longer. The health issue that Bosh may be dealing with is a blood clot in his lung. The Miami Herald reported early friday that if there is a pulmonary embolus, Bosh would require blood thinners. Bosh's former, teammate LeBron James, sent a tweet for support and also a referenced recently deceased Portland Trail Blazer Jerome Kersey. This is what LeBron tweeted.
"Man my heart really heavy right now thinking about @chrishbosh health! Especially after hearing about Kersey the other day. My prayers are..."
The 52-year-old Kersey died on Wednesday, and on Thursday the Oregon state medical examiner said the former NBA star died from a blood clot that traveled his left calf to his left lung. Prayers for Bosh people.

Three Point Contest
On Saturday, February 14, 2014, in Madison Square Garden, New York City. The 2015 All- Star break hosted the 2015 3- point contest. This contest had the leagues best shooter from behind the arc this season. The contest included Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Weasley Matthews, Kyle Korver, Marco Belinelli(returning champion), J.J Redick, James Harden, and Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry won in the championship round against Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving who had 17, and splash brother Klay Thompson who had 14. Curry won with 27 out 34. Curry hit 13 consecutive after missing his last money ball on the last rack off the contest. Curry holds the record of 272 3- pointers in a single season. Curry was asked if he had the contest won after his championship round and this is what he said, "Klay Thompson is behind me(in order of shooting), No way." Thompson went cold and by the fourth or fifth rack the trophy belonged to Curry. Afterward, Thompson tweeted that Curry is the "greatest shooter in the history of the game!"
LaVine Said he Would Top LeBron in A Dunk Contest
Zach LaVine. NBA All- Star Slam Dunk Champion. Is this rookie a little cocky? Just because he is 19 years old and won his first dunk contest? In an interview with "SportsCenter" after his All- Star Saturday night dunk competition win, LaVine said he'd take himself in a one- on- one dunk- off with LeBron James.
"I never go against my own talent so I've got to say me," LaVine said.
" I know LeBron's got some stuff the he ain't showed the world, either, LeBron's one of the most freaky athletes of all time... But Like I said, I'm a confident person," LaVine said.
Just because you brought out the old Michael Jordan Space Jam jersey, does not make you MJ. Also, LaVine told the NBA world he would watch this contest and practice his dunks. Watching the best dunkers like Michael Jordan, but Vince Carter is the best without a doubt. Has LeBron practiced his dunks like LaVine? Yeah, he tortured us with Dunks in practice while he was with the Miami Heat. LeBron has never been in a dunk contest even though so many people want or wanted to see him in the competition badly. Magic Johnson told LeBron he would pay him a million dollars out of his own pocket if he would compete in at least on dunk contest. LeBron refused. LeBron has always denied the contest, but "regret" after watching. LaVine you may be 19-years- old, but LeBron would be on the TOP if we were talking about the 18-year- old rookie.
Aggressive Start To All- Star Game
If you did not watch the All- Star Game on Valentines day, Saturday, February 14, 2015, in Madison Square Garden. LeBron started right out of the gate aggressive. Russell Westbrook the person you really would not think to win MVP put on a performance and won MVP. LeBron said this about Westbrook, "I think Westbrook came for it from the start." LeBron was being hypocritical. By the looks of it LeBron also wanted MVP from the beginning. LeBron was everywhere, and was an aggressive stretch we've seen from him in any game this season. He scored 15 on 6 of 9 shooting, and even his misses were electrifying. LeBron missed an alley-oop dunk slamming it too hard of the back of the rim. LeBron also air balled a shot from the three point distance. This is what LeBron had to say after the game, "I understand that my fans and our fans for this great game voted me in for a reason, they wanted to see me play. They wanted to see me do what I've been doing this year, and that's why they voted me in. It's my obligation and my responsibility to go out there, if I'm feeling 80 percent or 85 percent or 90, to go out there and give my fans something. Give my fans what they wanted to see. And hopefully I did that." LeBron at the end of the game had 30 points, seven assists and five rebounds. The West won against the East with the score of 163-158. Westbrook made 41 points just one shy away from tying the record of most points made in an All-Star Game. Wilt Chamberlain holds the record still since 1962.

Cavaliers Versus Bulls
Today, February 12, 2015, the Cleveland Cavaliers played the Chicago Bulls. The Cavaliers lost 98-113 despite LeBrons' 31 point performance. James also had 5 rebounds and 5 assists to tag along with his 30+ point game. Cavaliers second scoring leader was Kyrie Irving who had 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Kevin Love did not play due to eye injury from last night after getting hit the eye from Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers. Kevin Love was a big factor for the Bulls win against the Cavaliers. Love is either hitting his shots or getting boards like no tomorrow. That is a big factor for the Bulls, but a big loss for Cleveland. Derrick Rose was the Bulls leading scorer with 30 points along with 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Cavaliers records is now 33-22 before the 10 day All-Star break.
Shooting Slumps
Basketball is one stressful, wonderful, beautiful, emotional sport that people love to play or watch. Basketball could be love/hate sport for people. It can get under your skin emotionally if you're in a shooting slump. When you are in a shooting slump you always think of the worst that can happen. If you miss a shot you put yourself down the next shot and it creates your mindset to be negative. You always have to be confident in yourself no matter what. You can also be in a shooting slump physically. Sometimes your shot can have little differences that can make a big difference on your shot efficiency. For instance, some odd reason on your shot when you shoot you lean left when you are a straight up and down shooter can take you out physically. If you want to get out of a slump you have to shoot close in the paint shots then work your way out further and further. You have to believe that that little exercise can help you out. You have to believe in it and yourself. Great shooters always keep a positive mindset. Slumps can last for weeks, and you question yourself if you are a great shooter. You have to block out that negativity then you are making process. Also, if one of your greatest shooters on the team is in a slump, tell them that they can get out of it and they are one of the greatest shooters on your team or than you seen. Little things can make a big difference. Encouragement is always good, especially if it is one of your teammates. Sometimes shooters just need to hear from people that they are great shooters and they can always find their way out of slumps. If you are a great shooter and just having a rough time shooting, do not worry it will come back to you. If you feel like it is not working even though you are trying your best, maybe you are trying to hard. The greatest things take time. Work on other aspects of your game. Work harder on defense, make more assists, grab more rebounds, or maybe take shots closer to the rim. It will work, it just takes time. Never doubt yourself even when people tell you that you are great. People back you up on how capable you are of playing the game, especially if you are a shooter.
Cavaliers Versus Miami
On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at the Quicken Loans Arena was the Cleveland Cavaliers square off against Miami Heat and Hassan Whiteside. LeBron delivered a monster performance against his former team the Miami Heat scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists to a 113-93 victory. The Cavaliers have won 14 games out of their last 15, also kept the lead of the game despite losing Kevin Love most of the second half due to an eye injury. Kevin Love was poked in the eye by Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers in the third quarter. Love trying to get a board, but was hit in the face and immediately fell to the floor holding his eye. Love suffered a corneal abrasion, but he will travel to Chicago withe team on Thursday, which is the last game for the Cavaliers because of All-Star break. Timofey Mozgov also delivered a moster performance scoring a career high 20 points. Mozgov also had a really great assist to LeBron James. Mozgov threw a "alley-oop" to James, and SportsCenter recorded that LeBron caught the ball when he was 11.7 feet in the air. James can still get up there with his jumps, knowing that he is getting up there in age according to father time. Tristan Thompson had 17 points and 9 rebounds, Kyrie Irving had 15 points and 6 assists and Iman Shumpert scored 13 points. Mario Chalmers had 18 to lead the Wade-less team.
LeBron Responds To Hassan Whiteside
Prior to arriving for Wednesday night game against Cleveland Cavaliers in the Quicken Loans Arena, the Miami Heat center Whiteside offered," LeBron's a good player. I never really played too much against him. I'm not guarding him. Somebody else is pretty much guarding him. I just meet him at the rim." That statement and words said by Miami Heat's center Whiteside led to LeBron being asked in Wednesdays Cavaliers shoot around. LeBron complimentary said," He's a big, huge, very long, athletic. He's a big guy. And in our league, there are not that many guys like him. For his size, he's able to get to a lot of rebounds, change a lot of shots at the rim, and he has a really good touch, as well, around the rim. That's a huge pick up for them (Miami Heat), for sure. I'm happy for him. I'm happy for kid, more than anything. Even though he thinks I'm a good player, I'm still happy for him." After saying that LeBron left with a smile, with his comments drawing laughter. Whiteside wanted it left right there, replying to media about LeBron saying, " You all just blew that up way out proportion. But, man, I don't even know what to say. I don't got nothing to say."
LeBron Gets Emotional to Fresh Prince Episode
LeBron James may not seem like most people in the world because he is an NBA star. Well, let us say he is famous because he is going down in NBA Hall of Fame as one of the greatest to play the game. What most people do not realize or maybe even know is that LeBron grew up without a father figure. That is what makes LeBron James a normal person in this world. During a very special episode of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" was reminded of his childhood of his fathers absents. If people are not familiar with the TV Show "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" episodes, Will Smith a character has his father reappear in his life only for him to vanish quicker. The episode really hits LeBron emotionally who was raised by his mother Gloria, who was a single mother. LeBron James posted a video on social media Instagram and commented with the video it said, "Part1.I shed a tear til this day every time I see this episode. Every single time! LeBron also includes videos labeled part 2-4, but part 4 was commented with, "Part4. This hit home for me growing up and I couldn't hold my tears in. Til this day they still coming out when this episode came on." So if you do not think LeBron probably had everything he wanted in his childhood, think again. He was fatherless raised by a single strong mother.

I Love Basketball
A lot of basketball players are trying to improve their game on all different levels. If you are a point guard to a center you can always improve. If you want to improve your game in areas that you think you need to improve, or learn a NBA stars' signature move then you should like or subscribe to I Love Basketball on Facebook or YouTube. These videos are moves that Coach Rock learned on his own or studied a players movement just for you to learn. These videos really do help. I watch them and practice them. It will also help you with a conditioning, dribbling, shooting, and just areas where most people look up on the internet. Coach Rock takes his time just to show you tips to improve your game. It may not be in person, but if you are a hard working basketball player you will practice whatever you want and see the results. People may be like, "In person is the best way to practice moves you do not know." That is not exactly true. Just check out the videos and subscribe and they will send you videos on your Yahoo Mail if you subscribe on youtube. This helped me in areas of my game that I never thought I would be good at. My favorite ball quotes are, "Success is not an accident." Quoted by Stephen Curry, because it is true it is not an accident. Also, "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard." Quoted by Kevin Durant. Little things like these quotes can fuel you up if you keep saying them in your head. On my basketball shoes I wrote what Stephen Curry does on his shoes, "I Can do ALL things..." It is motivational for me, I tell myself I wrote it on my shoes for a reason, so did Curry. Little things like that can improve your game and self confidence. It is up to you to follow in the footsteps you want to, but first ask yourself.. Are you willing to put in the blood, sweat, and tears? If you love basketball you would know you would. Never let people you can not do things that you are capable of.

Been Steph Curry With the Shot... Been Chef Curry With the Pot!
Stephen Curry.... Where to start? This guy is Phenom. People might be surprised with that to this very day. People always told Curry he was too small to play in the NBA, but that did not stop the 6'4 point guard. He had to change his shot from when he was in high school if he wanted to go pro people also told him. He changed it, and he made it in the NBA. What now? He proved people that told him he could not, and showed them that he could. Why am talking about Stephen Curry right now? Well, if you did not catch the game today then you missed out on a very great performance by Curry. Stephen Curry had 51 points! 26 of them came in the third quarter. It was a slow start for the Warriors and they trailed in the half to the Dallas Mavericks. At the half Curry must went into some complete relaxation and just said he would come out a whole different person from he was in the first half. Like i said, Curry had 51 points and 26 of them were in the third quarter. Curry shot 10-16 from the three point line. That 26 did not beat Klays' 37, but it was still great to see a shooter put on such a caliber performance. Kids admire this guy, or the the guys known as the "Splash Bros." These guys without a doubt are the best back court players in the game or to even play the game. Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter without a doubt, and everybody knows that. You know what the twist is? Curry is a point guard. Aren't they suppose to pass the ball most of the time? Get assists? Be the ball handler? Well, basketball has evolved old timers. It is a new era. Point guards are one of the best scorers nowadays. Take Curry for example. He is the fastest player to reach 1,000 three pointers made. The Warriors are one lucky team to have a caliber sniper like Curry from behind the arc, not to mention also Klay Thompson. That is a build team. Greatest team in the NBA today. Their record shows it. What showed we all know? DO NOT SLEEP ON STEPHEN CURRY AND THE WARRIORS! They are the best team in the NBA and nobody can tell us otherwise.
Basketball Tournament in Saint Paul
This week starting Thursday February 5, and ending Saturday February 7, Saint Paul is hosting a Round Robin Boys Tournament. The teams that are coming in for the tournament is New Stuyahok Eagles, New Halen Malamutes, Port Alsworth Lynx, and the host Saint Paul Sea Parrots. This is some exciting news for Saint Paul. There has not been a tournament here since 1980's. Lot of locals who are going to college or just working jobs off island are coming back to watch this tournament and cheer on their Sea Parrots. By the sounds of this tournament it is going to intense and packed. Well, the size of the gym is pretty small compared to others in Alaska. It is going to be something different and a change for once a bit in Saint Paul. It is kind of big news floating around here. Saint Paul loves their basketball and they love their home team. This tournament would have not been possible, but it is possible thanks to Pen Air, and CBSFA. The Saint Paul school and basketball team is hanging up banners of the companies to show some respect. And I'am pretty sure Coach Baldwin would not let a single game be played until he announces that CBSFA and Pen Air are the sponsors. Pretty exciting week this week in Saint Paul!
Brandon Jennings on LeBron James
A lot of people think LeBron is the greatest to play the game right? But, most people would agree with Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is the best player to play the game and we all know that besides being able to win one more right with the Lakers. What makes LeBron not one of the greatest to be mentioned with MJ or Kobe? Brandon Jennings had some words to say at this was it, "run too much when (expletive) gets tough. Never stick it out. Like MJ, Magic, Bird. Kobe. He's not better." Some people are or will get angry over what Jennings says. Why they get mad? Is it true? Why do you deny it right away then? Think about it. LeBron had to switch teams to win TWO rings. Yeah, he did not have any help in Cleveland, but that was when stuff got tough. I mean thats when Kobe was always playing unlimited minutes, and the Celtics BIG 4 was still together. LeBron made the decision to air his decision on National television too. People burned his jerseys, and booed him at every arena. Why though? Is it because you fans wanted LeBron on your team? Mad because he did not go to your team? Instead went to Miami to play with Wade and Bosh to make an appearance in the finals FOUR times and won half. He left after 2014 and went back home. What was his reason? People say because the going go tough like 2010 in Cleveland. No, Miami fans wanted to much from him. I mean he went through cramps and people were calling him a lady for it? "Oh! MJ played with the flu!" So what? MJ does not weigh 250 and is pure muscle. 250! Cramping up. You people would not be able to play through that, so do not compare him to no female. I am weight off my subject. Brandon Jennings was making tweets about LeBron saying he was not the best, then re-saying that he was? What is up with that? "I didn't say he was a bad player. Just said he didn't stick it out in Cleveland." then, "Lebron is one of the greatest hands down no question." Why are you confusing the media? You are just making yourself look stupid! We know you have time to heal up on your Achilles, and I really do hope you get better soon, but think what you say first before posting stuff on social media. LeBron fans do not get your panties up in a bunch over Jennings. Just wish Jennings well, and continue to watch LeBron. Honestly, we do not know who is the great to play the game or claim the name "The G.O.A.T" probably because there is not one.

LeBron Talks About Kevin Love
Kevin Love has been struggling in offense lately, and it has LeBron talking a bit. James is not talking bad about love, but that he is struggling and his confidence level is a bit down. This is what James said about love, "I think Kev had some shots that he passed up on. Maybe he felt that he just wasn't in a good rhythm, but I know I hit him with a few (potential) shots after the first quarter where he had some good looks when he decided to swing- swing (with a pass), which is OK, it kept the ball moving. So, I think Kev, I think his confidence maybe shooting the ball is a little down, but for me as a player, I get him good looks. I want him to shoot the ball and he needs to shoot it with confidence." The Cleveland Cavaliers still managed to get their 11th straight victory by beating the 76ers 97-84. Kevin love had 5 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in 33 minutes of playing time.

LeBron James Named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week - January 26
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, January 19 through Sunday, January 25. This marks the third time this season LeBron James has earned Player of the Week accolades, well as the 48th time in his career, the most in NBA history. It also marks the 46th time in franchise history a player has earned Player of the Week honors and the 29th time James has earned the honor as a member of the Cavaliers. LeBron led the Cavaliers to a perfect 4-0 record this past week, averaging 27.8 points on shooting .506 shooting from the field, 6.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 2.3 steals in 34.3 minutes per game.
LeBron Asked For Longer All-Star Break
LeBron reportedly asked commissioner Adam Silver for a longer All-Star break according to NBC Sports News. This is what Marc Stein of ESPN said, "Sources in the room say Silver, at All-Star Weekend 2014 in New Orleans, addressed the All-Star in both conferences and vowed to seek the players' input to grow the game and make the league better. LeBron James, sources said, promptly responded with a plea to make the All-Star break longer and reduce the number of back- to- back games for each team." The All-Star break was extended. LeBrons' other request was a bit too much to ask for though. Because the league must fit 82 games in one season per team. Commissioner Adam Silver is trying to accommodate by shrinking the preseason and moving up the start of the regular season. So, is Silver going too far to please LeBron? No, it is great ideas. Just like when LeBron James wanted the NBA to dump sleeved jerseys. Then this years Christmas Day jerseys were sleeveless with no last name on the back instead their first names.
LeBron Doubtful Against Kings
Today, January 30, 2015, LeBron is doubtful against the Kings because of sprained right wrist. If LeBron does miss the game this will LeBrons' career high 11 games missed throughout his entire career due injury this season. LeBron fell in the third quarter in Tuesday's win against Detroit. LeBron came back in the fourth quarter and scored 10 of his 32 points, LeBron had a MRI and X-ray prior to the Blazers game, and revealed it was a sprained right wrist. With LeBron doubtful for todays game it brings it back to January 11th when the Cavaliers played the Kings and lost without LeBron, the final score was 103-84. Do not doubt the Cavaliers though, Kyrie scored 55 against against Portland. That is one game where they kind of proved they have a person who can take over when star LeBron is not capable for playing.

Kyrie Irving Drops 55
Today, on January 28, 2015, the Cleveland Cavaliers went up against the Portland Trailblazers to continue their winning streak to number 8. LeBron did not play, probably due to rest. Most people would think that the Cavaliers would lose without LeBron like they did when he was out due to injury, but it was a whole different story tonight. The Cavalier went out today and retrieved the win without LeBron. One player stepped it up, and no it was not Kevin Love. It was the other "Big 3" member Kyrie Irving. Kyrie Irving scored 55 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Kyrie shot 17- 36 from the field, and 11- 19 from the arc with 38 minutes of playing time. The final score was 99-94 at the end of the game to continue the Cavaliers winning streak to 8. Lets hope the Cavaliers can keep their hot streak going knowing the best team in the East as of right now the Atlanta Hawks are on a 14 game winning streak.
7 Game Streak
Yesterday January 27, 2015, the Cleveland Cavalier won their 7th straight game against the Detroit Pistons. This is the Cavalier team that had a bad start to the season, especially when LeBron was injured for almost two weeks. But on Tuesday LeBron James had 32 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, and Kyrie Irving had 38 points to add to the scoreboard which is 70 points combined for the Cleveland duo. Today, Wednesday the Cavaliers will go up against the Portland Trailblazers to continue their winning streak. After LeBrons' return he has player phenomenal in the eight games he has played since returning, averaging 30.5 points and scoring 30 or more points five times. The Cavaliers were 19-19 when LeBron returned against the Phoenix Suns, which the Cavaliers lost. Now, after yesterdays win against Detroit they Cavaliers are 26-20 and are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. Everything is looking good for this Cavalier team. Hopefully they can get the win today, and continue their streak and win more games to better their record in the Eastern Conference. Healthy team equals more opportunities, but most importantly is HEALTHY LEBRON equals BETTER CHANCES TO WIN.

All Star Starter
Well thanks to all you Cavalier fans, LeBron will make his 11th consecutive start for the Eastern Conference in next month's All-Star Game in Madison Square Garden. LeBron received the most votes in the East with 1.47 million votes, but sorry Cavs fans. The most votes for any player this season goes to West All-Star point guard Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors. Curry received 1.51 million votes overall, according to voting results announced Thursday on TNT. The fans select the starters by position. LeBron had won the most votes in the NBA on three earlier occasions and led Curry by about 13,000 votes on January 8, 2015. LeBron, a two time Most Valuable Player of the All-Star Game, was the only Cavalier voted in as a starter. That's bad news for Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving, who was voted in last year and won MVP honors. The All-Star game is on February 15, 2015 at 8:30 PM. East starters are LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Pau Gasol, and guards Kyle Lowry and John Wall. The West starters starting with the guards are Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, forwards are Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin and Marc Gasol were selected. Kobe Bryant on the other hand was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff on Thursday that in all likeihood would keep him out of the game. All around it looks like the All- Star Game held in New York is going to be a great game hearing the starters. There are other players coming off the bench for the starters who have one as much talent as the starters, but it was fan voted. So, tune in on February 15, at 8:30 PM, to watch the East versus the West. It usually is show off basketball, with tremendous dunks. It is just for show, and a break for some players for a whole week and watch a great show.
Shawn Marion Retire After This Season
Cleveland Cavalier small forward is looking to retire after this season. No, I'am not talking about small forward Cleveland star LeBron James, but other small forward Shawn "Matrix" Marion. Marion plans to retire after this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers which will mark the end to his 15 year NBA career that mostly spent as a star with the Phoenix Suns. Marion had to say this, "I wanted to go on my terms, the biggest thing is having a son. I got attached to him. Seeing him periodically is hard. Watching him grow up on pictures and videos is hard." Marion considered retirement last summer but chose to sign with Cleveland mostly for a chance at a second championship ring and the proximity to his son in Chicago. Marion was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 1999, when he set to play 15 seasons. The 36 year old believes he could play another three seasons but being away from his first son, eight month old Shawn, has convinced him to retire after this season with the Cavaliers.

Kings Meet... LeBron King James and Three Point King Ray Allen
According to ESPN news LeBron has met with his former teammate from the Miami Heat Ray Allen. LeBron was not only in Miami for rehab for injury recovery. He had the time to sit down with Ray Allen to try and appeal the league's all-time leader in three pointers again about joining the Cleveland Cavaliers this season. Ray has not played since his 18th season ended with a Finals loss for the Heat to the San Antonio Spurs. According to ESPN Radio's Ryen Russillo reported that Ray Allen message to teams inquiring for his services earlier in the season was to check back with him in January and he would make his decision to return or not and which team to choose if he did opt for season number 19 in February. LeBron is not the only Cavalier member to meet face to face with Ray Allen, several other members of the Cavs have kept in contact with the shooting guard this season like James Jones and Mike Miller, who were also Allen's teammates in Miami. Allen also vacationed with LeBron, and James Jones visited the Bahamas together along with their families. The Cavaliers have 14 players on their roster and have one open slot which they try to recruit Ray Allen. Allen played 73 games with the Miami Heat in the regular season and all 20 postseason games last season. He averaged 9.3 points per game on 41 percent shooting in the playoffs. Hopefully Ray Allen would decided to join the league in his 19 season and become a Cavalier maybe for his last season.
Cavaliers Versus Utah
Today, January 21, 2015, the Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Utah Jazz. LeBron is having flu like symptoms, but will most likely play today in the Quicken Loans Area in Cleveland. The symptoms kept LeBron out of practice Tuesday the bug is spreading because Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving missed morning shoot around according to Cleveland news. Kyrie is probable for the game tonight versus Utah. LeBron said today that he started to feel sick two days ago. LeBron also had to say this, "Been better, I'm alright." Still sounding sick after this mornings shoot around. The Cavaliers are hoping to bounce back against the Jazz after meeting the last time Gordon Hayward had the game winning shot to win the game for the Jazz 102-100. That game LeBron had 31 points and Hayward had 21. Hayward after that game had to say this in his blog about LeBron, "Can't bully me as much as he used to, and I'm able to stand my grounds against him." LeBron was asked to respond to Haywards comments and this is what LeBron had to say, "I don't believe me ever pushing him around in the past, I don't use one on one matchup against everyone. I play team ball, I just try to win ball games. It's not about me and Gordon Hayward. If it made him feel better by saying that, good for him, but I don't really care about that stuff." Words of wisdom from the King that is always humble. He does not care what people have to say about him or how he plays. He has taken so much criticism already from joining the Miami Heat back in 2010 that he does not care what people have to say about him now. He will play his game and let it speak for itself.
J.R. Smith Improved Stats
Since the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired J.R. Smith from the New York Knicks, his stats have improved dramatically according to Cavs Nation. They named the Picture "Tale Of Two Smiths" and updated his statistics from his games with Knicks and the Cavaliers. In the Picture it shows that Smiths' average points with the Knicks were 10.9 points per game shooting 40 percent from the field, 36 percent from the arc, and 0.8 steals per game. Now that he has joined LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Kyrie down in Cleveland he has improved quite nicely. His statistics with the Cavaliers so far is 14.6 points per game shooting 44 percent from the field, 39 percent from the arc, and 1.7 steals per game. Smith is not the only player required from the Knicks who yet has not shown some great improvement. We all know J.R. Smith told media, "When in doubt, shoot the ball." But Iman Shumpert who still needs to make his Cavalier debut from a shoulder dislocation while playing with the Knicks. Both are talented players and can mature playing with LeBron James and the Cavaliers. They just need to trust the team and coaching staff. If they can do that then they can be a championship contending team. Most people would doubt that, but anything can happen in the game of basketball. Defense and teamwork wins championships. NBA fans learn that from watching the San Antonio Spurs competing against the Miami Heat for two years in the Finals. That is if players can stay healthy on the Cavalier roster, and do not have any trade deadlines later in the season.
