9 Game Winning Streak... Nope.
On Thursday, December 11, 2014, the Cleveland Cavaliers faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Cavaliers ended up losing the game 103-94 ending their 8 game winning streak. During the first half Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving had a scare for Cavalier Nation by trying to contest Oklahoma's point guard Russell Westbrook's shot. Kyrie ended up coming back and finishing the game with 20 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. LeBron did not play this game due to soreness in his knees, but Cavaliers still got some work done without LeBron. It was just a nine point game, and it could of been worse. Without LeBron this game, Kevin Love had to put some work in and he finished the game with 18 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 assists. Big man Tristan Thompson had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Matthew Dellavedova who missed quite some games due to injury played and finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Coming off the bench Dion Waiters had 14 points, and 4 assists. Oklahoma snaps the Cavaliers winning streak and take the win to a LeBron- less team. Kevin Durant and Russell back from injury, the Cavaliers will give this game to them to get them back on track. Until next time Oklahoma fans.
