LeBron Watched Knicks Fall to Trail Blazers
December 7, 2014, LeBron watched the Knicks falls short to the Portland Trail Blazers 103-99. The funny part of the game was that J.R. Smith called James a "student of the game" for attending the Knicks' game Sunday at the Garden. J.R. Smith is too cocky for a shooting guard. He is talking about the best player in the game today. J.R. Smith is known to take bad shots, and have some problems on the court. Remember when Carmelo Anthony was wide open, but Smith had to take the last shot anyways, and missed. But he does have his fair share of good moments. It was the Knicks straight defeat, seven of them only losing by seven or less points. According to Carmelo Anthony, James took in the game as a way to show his "support" for their friendship. LeBron sat across from the Knick bench on his day off from the Cavaliers, who visited the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. The Knicks are 4-18 have lost 17 of their last 19 and off to their worst start in franchise history. James got to see the Knicks rally from 11 points down in the fourth quarter, with Anthony and Smith leading the change before Aldridge took over in the final minute. Anthony who had 23 points made a deep three to make it 95-91 with 5:56 left. Anthony then hit a 19 footer to cut it to 95-93 with a little over five minutes left. A'mare ended up tying the game 95-95 with 4:29 to go, but eventually the Blazers would take the lead 97-95 with 3:33 left. Six straight point from Aldridge put the Blazers up 102-99 with 1:18 left. Anthony missed a 21 foot jump shot at 1:05 and Prigioni missed a potential game tying three with 29 seconds remaining.
