Cavalier Versus Knicks Expectations

Cavaliers are on a four game winning streak and their next game is versus the Knicks. The game is tomorrow Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Madison Square Garden @ 4PM televised on TNT and FSOH. Take note that this is the team that defeated the Cavaliers on their season opener. The score from the season opener and the last time this new Cavaliers met the Knicks, the Cavaliers fell to defeat the score was 95-90. LeBron had 17 points shooting 5-15 from the field and had eight turnovers. Kyrie Irving had 22 points and Kevin Love added 19 points along with 14 rebounds.  I'am quite sure that we are going to see a different LeBron and Cavaliers team this time. Now that they have more playing time, chemistry, and feel for each other this season since last meeting the Knicks this season. The Knicks during the game opener did quite well with their star Carmelo Anthony scoring 25 points with Iman Shumpert and Jason Smith having 12 points a piece. Carmelo is coming back from back spasms so lets see how he will compete against LeBron this coming game. It will not only be the starting five from both teams to contribute this game. Both teams will need their bench to put in work. Last game the Knicks bench outscored the Cavaliers 41-12. That was some horrible stats from the Cavaliers. After the Knicks won the game in October this is what Knicks star Carmelo Anthony had to say, "Everyone expects it to work automatically, it's going to take some time. It took time in Miami for him. He'll figure it out. I don't see anything that they won't figure out." LeBron had to say this after the game in October after the loss to the Knicks, "It was one game, and we've got to learn from it." Both teams are struggling in the season a bit. The Cavaliers record is 9-7 better than the Knicks whose record is 4-15. The game could go any way for each team. It just depends on which team can get the lead early in the game and if they can keep the lead going in the second half. After halftime it seems like when the most competition comes out from each team. It comes down to who wants to win the game more and if they can play as a team. It should be a great game Thursday when these team meet again. The Cavaliers most likely want revenge on the Knicks after losing their game opener of the Season in the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. I advise Cavalier fans to tune in a watch and compare how they played against the Knicks this time from when first played them in October. It will be a different Cleveland team without a doubt.
